A federal appropriations bill signed into law last week has a provision aimed at helping veterans access health care, the office of U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, announced.

The bill also urges the VA to resolve a reimbursement dispute with tribal health providers, who care for veterans in urban and rural Alaska who would otherwise be unable to use their VA benefits.
